1. I parent differently from most of the families around me and I’m constantly having to defend my choices. I think the issue that people have when you do something differently is that they equate that with the notion that you think they did it wrong. But I agree with you 100%.

1. Bubba: Reading, writing, painting, building with blocks, singing, dancing, riding his bike, the beach, the park, playing pirates, cooking

   Chubba: ripping paper, reading books, eating, dancing, following big brother around the house

   But of course with small children this could all be different by morning.

Since I can remember, frugality guides me in most of the things that I do. It doesn’t mean I get it right every time, nor does it mean I don’t make mistakes in my choices and decisions. Last vacation was the perfect example of such mistake, when frugal spelled disaster.

1. I had this for Bubba but he really didn’t seem to care for it other than to chew on the corners. Didn’t buy one for Chubba but he seems to love looking at himself in the mirror. Go figure.

2. This looks great! I work for exchange and mart and there are currently over a 1000 items listed under baby, clothing and nursery equipment; might be worth looking for a bargain there.
